Birds Eye Yoga
Birds Eye Yoga serves as our reminder to swoop back down to re-inhabit and reconnect with the landscape (and body) in which we operate. Our acronym, BE, helps us with the reminding. For years, Birds Eye founder, Annie Milroy Price, was working as a traditional business developer, while maintaining her own yoga practice during which she viewed her time on the mat as both a magic carpet ride and a journey home. As she tuned in more and more to the challenges her clients were facing, she began noticing the heavy toll that the oscillations from despair to delight were taking. This led to the development of her Yoga and The Entrepreneurial Journey curriculum, in which she began utilizing time on the mat, coupled with writing and reflection, to work through challenges showing up in the venture. At the heart of Birds Eye Yoga, is a commitment to building strength through the static poses, while building flexibility through the dynamic sequences. Because after all, as we have come to know first hand, every entrepreneurial journey requires large amounts of both strength and flexibility to weather the challenges and changing terrain of their day-to-day. In her classes and one-on-one sessions with clients, Annie tunes into the technical and the adaptive challenges that the participant is working through, both in the body and the venture.
Yoga Studios: We would love to bring our Yoga and the Entrepreneurial Journey workshops and curriculum to your studio to support your teachers in one-day workshops or offer the business development portion of your teacher training program. We originally developed this workshop for the Asheville Yoga Center Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training to support their 500 hour graduating teachers in building business skills while discovering their own authentic brand identity. We are happy to travel and be of support to you and your community.
